Super Mario Marathon 2

I was the first person to email them last year during their first 10 minutes. Am i cool yet?
YES, Yes i am.
Last year the Mario Marathon team raked up $12,000 of donations to the Child's Play charity.
But this year..... This year they went hella organized and raked up over $27,000 and have gotten thrice the amount of viewers. Pretty impressive. But not really since watching this was very very delightful. I hope they get a Couch Dog cam next year. Its not really done yet, but i'm not going to wait on them to finish so i can write this.

I know i'm a little late to jump on the train, but i just finished Gurren Lagann.
I've never watched an anime quite like this that was able to make me feel a positive emotion.
I mean, its like Courage Wolf was spawned inside me, and thus made me feel like Captain Falcon for those moments of watching. "ITS LIEK I'M RLY BADASS!". Now i officially like the Mecha genre. I liked G-Gundam a whole lot, but then SEED made me hate Mecha. But its okay now.
Code Geass was ok too. I was bored shitless from it, but i tuned into the last 5 episodes and shat myself from it having an amazing ending. Now i'm watching the series from the beginning since i understand wtf is going on now.
Anywho..
I'm also alittle late to know that Billy Mays has died a couple days after MJ & FF.
Its sad really. Because i wouldn't have known the awesome that is mighty putty.

In other MORE pleasant news, it has been confirmed that Mewtwo will be in Heart Gold/Soul Silver! I don't really give a damn about the Latios and Latias news. They're pointless to the Pokemon lore..

Grilled Chicken Warz

Fast Food notes;

El Pollo Loco > Kentucky Grilled Chicken
Not sure how the hell EPL keeps such low prices for the taste and hasn't been
bankrupt yet. I'm guessing they buy out all the leftover chicken hordes after the "Big 3" take
first dibs on the fresh chicken. Now Kentucky Grilled Chicken.. It tastes like the original KFC fried chicken recipe. Great right? Well no, the fried chicken is nice and oily with lots of juicy fats. The Kentucky Grilled Chicken is almost as dry as my dad's pork chops. Pretty much a block of eatable seasoning. They weren't kidding when the ad said "It falls right off the bone". IT REALLY DOES! Sounds like a block of ice when it hits your plate. Not too flattering. Even i can make better chicken, probably anyone who does not know how to cook. Now for those who MIGHT go off to El Pollo Loco to fuel their souls, i recommend to do the following;

1. Prepare some jasmine rice (Have it cook 30 minutes prior to leaving).
2. Go off to the Crazy Chicken and order some Mac and Cheese as a side with your chicken.
3. Get home, get a bowl, put in the rice and soy sauce (WHITE PEOPLE, DON'T ABUSE THE AMOUNT OF SOY SAUCE)
4. Pour about 1/3rd the amount of Mac and Cheese on your rice as the amount of rice you have in the bowl.
(If you have 2 cups of cooked rice in the bowl, then 1 cup of M&C is what you're aiming for)
5. Gently mash together. (Only just slightly Mixing it)
6. Eat with your crazy chickens.

You know whats really fun? If you replace the chicken with Fried Chicken and use the skin to wrap around the rice.
BUT! -El Pollo Loco's Mac & cheese complements the rice farrrr better than the Neclear Orange stuff you get at KFC. Most of you Asians probably already do this. I just laugh at the fools who think it sounds disgusting. But guess what? People think the idea of cheese is gross.
If you're really a ambitious eater, how about going to both places?!

Ps. If you want to push it to the extreme, throw in a sunnyside up egg and a hashbrown and mix it along with the 3000 calorie bowl of wet dreams. I've done this about 10 times in my lifetime. Its sooo amazing.

ITS THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN!
The only 4 days of the year where i leave my room!
Comic-Con is coming... Again..
I've been going every year since 1999 due to the convention center being in my backyard. Its like everybody came to my birthday or something. Which also explains all the free goodies. Last time i blew off $300 on-you guessed it, Anime and Video games. Which is fine because its very seldom that i get to blow of my parent's money like a madman (Which i'm very thankful for). But this year it'll come out of my pocket (maybe). The very pocket that I've been on other Comic-Con adventures with. But this year will be different. This year i'm mostly in pursuit of the hot nippon lady action.
Bitches don't know about my
Gen Lai Sen.

Gen Lai Sen is a family owned restaurant with the charm of looking like a hole in the wall with the typical indoor/street vendor type feeling of China. I've been going here for years and I've got to say, those rundown 17 year old carpets make the experience 100% more authentic, thus Super Powering your date with whomever you choose. But be warned! Don't buy take out unless its necessary.
Buying indoors= 1.5 times the amount of extra food (THAT YOU CAN DOGGY BAG). ITS WORTH IT!. If you ever do consider this awesome award winning sweat house of child labor- with it's own parking lot, then try out the Beef Noodle and Pork Fried rice. SHIT IS SO BOMB. Stay close to these main stream dishes, i'd say they've had alot more practice with those dishes than anything else. And the Veggie Fried rice is even better than the pork. (Weird isn't it?) And that's not even the awesome part. The awesome part is you eating there after leaving Comic-Con. Its just a few blocks away. Small yellow building that looks wayyyyy out of place from the City College and skyscraper apartment complex across from it.

TRANSFORMERS REVENGE OF THE FALLEN review

This movie is a hit or miss depending on how much you listened+how much you already know about the Transformers universe.
1. The story (Lets go over it first);

The Fallen is one of the original Primes scattered throughout the galaxy looking for planets where they could build Sun Harvesters. These massive machines harvest energon by destroying stars, the vital energy of Transformers . The Dynasty of the Primes had one rule: Sun Harvesters were not to be built in systems which contain life.

The Fallen, choosing to ignore this rule and, due to a deep hatred of humanity and thurst for power, arrived on Earth in 17,000 BC and started building a new Sun Harvester with other like-minded Cybertronians while killing off any human that got close enough to the structure. The other Primes learned of his betrayal and prevented the activation of the Harvester by hiding the Matrix of Leadership, although they were unable to kill the Fallen and instead sealed him away. In the present day, the Fallen revealed to the revived Megatron that the Allspark's power is flowing through Sam (~~because the stupid idoit kept a shard of what everybody wants~~), and that Sam is the key to finding another source of energon (The Matrix of leadership).
Thus robot gore and Megan Fox ass for 2 hours.

Primes- Its like a bloodline of awesome and also a title to those who are badass.
Energon-Its why Autobots Vs Decepticons exist. Decepticons need energon to overpower shit. The Allspark from Movie 1 was an infinite source of energon.
Matrix of Leadership- Every Prime passes this organ to the next Prime to succeed him. This "Organ" is a source of hardcore energon, thus only trusted to a Prime.
The Fallen- Not to be confused with the A7x album, But the Fallen is a stupid prick that needs the ~~Triforce~~ Matrix of leadership to activate the Energon harvester.

2. The Review;
Its either the biggest/greatest action film ever made.. OR.. Its incoherent nonsense that's fucking hard on the eyes.

Many critics slammed this baby hard. Mostly because... 'It didn't make sense'.
If there was a flaw like 'The back of the Smithsonian Air museum being a dirt lot' -fine, that's actually funny. BUT... Making sense out of the script is another story.
I don't blame those critics for having such a hard time keeping track of Optimus Prime ripping out Decepticon spines while trying to listen to the story.. Brains of the elderly are more at risk since almost all of their Braincells/receptors are already dead.
Perhaps most of us younger people can make out the action just fine and also well enough to decipher the guttering voice work that is Megatron.
Maybe we just grew up with better hand-eye coordination with the advances in videogames and Anime. Yeah that's it.
Moving on..
This movie was being written during the 2007 writer's strike, so yes, this movie could have been alot more than the written synopsis above. Perhaps we could have seen more of the Autobots. I mean, I know that Ratchet is a medic.. But he only spoke 1 line since the first movie.
The only characters that had character was the Witwickeys and Optimus Prime. Both of which had only 30 minutes of screen time. (Optimus had the best 30 minutes in the whole movie).
other than that being a problem... I have no other problems. The animations were coherent. Alot of the bots look the same, But i know who's who from looking at their exterior parts like shoulder pads etc. And that last war in the film? Alot of Decepticon pawns were in their Cybertrionian skeletons. So i knew they didn't matter besides being in the fight. And the side with the autobots are literally on the side the US.Army would be. In fact, this was the most confusing of parts for people. But really all you needed to know is that the format was that of a First Person Shooter. The direction you face, is where the Decepticons are at. And anyone's backs you see are the Autobots. So damn easy!
Now the first movie's fight scenes were incoherent. They were ALL OVER THE PLACE.
But now its a side vs side thing.

Pros-
-Megan Fox
-Robot Gore for 2 hours straight
-Goes deeper into the Transformers' Lore
-The Constructicons turning into The Devastator
-Being devastated at what happened at the forest scene (manly tears)
-Being fucking happy at what happened at the final battle when Prime fucking went hardcore mode like in the cartoons.
::::SPOILERS IT LOOKED SOMETHING LIKE THIS::::::

Cons-
-Megan Fox
-When the robot gore stopped for 2 minutes
-Not meeting the Constructicons (They were only in vehicle mode)
-The Fallen doesn't look like the Fallen..
(But at least he looks hella prehistoric.)

TRANSFORMERS 3
-All we know is that Unicron will be the planet Nibiru that's gonna fuck shit up for 2012.
A Unicron movie means Megatron evolves into Galvatron. And Prime turns into
'Galaxy Omega Tengen Toppa Super Sayan Hypermode Megazord Gundam Volt-xephon Gurren Lagann Prime'
-So he can fight Unicron. I'm thinking he'll look alittle something like this;

Final thoughts-
-This movie is long because it doesn't take 1 head shot to kill a giant robot. 3 1/2 stars for action alone.
-And yes, I'm aware that i used a TF1 picture.

Oh you silly Nippon, You've done it again! Japan has a bid on the 2016 summer Olympics. And they need votes n shit from the International Olympic Committee by showing off everything they've got.. Not like they'll win by the vote. If Japan's efforts fail in making their docile actions please some votes, then they've got a life size 59 foot Gundam to win the bid with superior firepower ~~(along with celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Gundam franchise)~~. They've just finished construction on a RX78-2 Gundam (Basic, easy to make and oldschool) and its just sitting there in middle of Shiokaze Park at Tokyo's man-made Odaiba Island -ready to make the Olympic committee to piss their pants. Don't fuck with Japan.
So far the entries for the 2016 Olympics are..
1. Chicago (durr) for some stupid ass reason.
2. Madrid (Spain) Has fuck win culture
3. Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) Has A huge statue of Jesus
4. Tokyo (hurr) Anime babes n shit

Honesty.. The weeaboo inside me wants Tokyo to win this one. THEY'VE GOT THEM ANIMUS, LOLI GOTH MAIDS AND THEIR OWN HITOMI TANAKA!
I could imagine their opening cerimony having Samurai bullshit and then to top it off, you have a Pikachu powered Gurren Lagann fighting Godzilla.
ANYWHO
If the Gundam fails to attract... Japan has another secret weapon up their sleeve...

I've seen Gigantor on Adult Swim a bunch of times. But i had no idea that he was blue.

Final thoughts-
It would have made more sense for Japan to make the Shining Gundam as it represented Japan in a world fight during the 1994 G-Gundam series

But heres another reason to save up yer money,
Nikkei Net Japan is a site similar to fry's electronics USA cross breeded with a digg.
Just see it as a Dannychoo.com but with electronics only.
Moving on

Nintendo's portable game machine later this year, "Nintendo DS" is making a comeback with some muscle! Introducing the new improved hand-held of it's self (Pic not related). Equipped with a standard camera, music playback, strengthened functions of wireless communications and encourages the use of the information terminals. DS is released from a four-year, worldwide sales reached 77 million units. The new Tyrant beyond the boundaries of the gaming industry, such as mobile phones will likely be competing.

Camera for use of the Games are leverage to expand.
Only for the current prices of 16,800 yen-20,000 yen which is around 180USD (Today's DS)
You might be able to get one of these for about the same price or more.

And there might be more to this new model --Other than what we have heard from the Nikkei report. Apparently another site called Monex said that the hardware would have larger screens and be able to transfer data from the Wii or an SD card.

The Nintendo "DS2" will be released sometime this year in Japan (Holiday sales?) and next year in the USA.

A REAL TRUTHFUL REVIEW;
Heres a summary of the game that is pretty much all you need to know;
Theres this secret club at school that knows of a secret 25th hour that happens on a full moon. On this hour some tower appears out of nowhere.
You go around fighting things in the tower with the use of your persona. Personas are demonic entities inside the characters that would help them in combat. These demons are summoned by shooting a gun like device into the head. (this was used to make the emo-esque look more emo)
This gun to head represents giving your life to something greater (which makes it fit perfectly)

The whole game is pretty much walking around at school hanging out with people to power up this persona. Its technically a dating sim. 70% of the game is a dating sim and walking around going to the mall with people/eating noodles etc. 10% is tarterus (the tower which is a mini battle rpg game that was thrown in there) that pretty much has the same gameplay as any jrpg. the other 10% are the cut scenes. What appeals to the audience is the dating system, since its obviously targeted to casual gamers. Its pretty much appealing if you want to be a Japanese high school student and knock up people virtually because you never got any (i have no idea why else).
But if you play rpgs period you will tell anyone that this game was probably the most boring hunk of s*** ever thought up and you can see the rage in their face from the 30$ they wasted.. And the Occult theme this game has doesn't even pull it off.
If you like socially grinding for hours (70 hours worth) and don't like fighting (6 hours worth), this game should do you well.
The 'sexual' situations this game conjures up can be experienced from reading a manga. Except in the game it wont show anything.

Anyone to play this game will know that what i just said is pretty much what it is. Like it or not, thats the truth. Theres just 2 ways to say it. "OMGZ SUPAR UNQIUE AND BLAH" and the normal way.
What i did like were the solid voice actors/characters and dialogue. Other than that its probably the most boring of all jrpgs and rpgs in history.
I bought it because it was recommended by several people who never played rpgs. The boxcase even said "Best rpg of 2007" so i thought this was going to be fantastic since i've been hearing so much about its "unique gameplay and story".
Theres nothing different about the gameplay besides the fancy menu select screen. The story wasn't good either. The doujinshi this game puts off by fans is fantastic though. But wayyy too deceiving.
So in conclusion..
If you REALLY like rpgs, anime, the occult, real dating and gameplay (especially gameplay);
Then you will hate this game. Thats right. HATE. You will HATE it like no other game because buyers remorse takes a serious toll on this one.
But i'm sure theres worse out there, but this goes in the very short list of "The worst games i've ever played"

Even more obscure reviewers ("hardcore" gamer type people) stated that people who gave good reviews for this game were;
1. in it for the money
2. on crack.
3. Never played an rpg before

Zeldathon didn't dissapoint!

We all knew The Mario Marathon team would do fantastic and they did!
They raised over 1k to the Child's Play organization for the first half of the Zeldathon.

Mr Cbanga @ http://www.cameronbanga.com/ on the other hand didn't have the super expensive great set up like MMT, but they did manage to please the crowd even tho just a camera and Tv was hadded.

They Had interviews, call ins with Skype, Chat people would ask questions, fun stuff.
Penny Arcade even called in. For those who were in it, lots of memorable stuff
from McNugget-McFlurry to the "Rickroll Dance".

Other marathons that happened where The Paper Mario marathon, Final Fantasy 7, and Rock band.

The dedication for the PMM was strong as they battled for sleep.
FF7M had a drinking contest that made the grinding more tolerable.
And alternate shifts for the Rock Band.

Sonic and Resident Evil Marathons!

Jeebuz, I haven't been doing anything on here lately. I would sure find out bunches of cool stuff but never share. BAHAHAHAHA. Tho As of today Dawn got on my case.
So heres an update of events that happened in the last 3 months.

E3. Microsoft had alot to show, Nintendo disappointed, and Sony had a good presentation but 90% of the talk was PS2. BAHAHAHA. FF13 is being multiplatformed, that made some lols as well as some suicides. But no harm done here.

I've been off my ass for awhile to play some vidya gaemz again after just thinking about it.
I just finished Disgaea 2, Kirby dream land 3, and working on The legend of Zelda link to the past along with just purchasing Persona 3.
There for Blogging was nothin to me!

So what we know;
Pokemon Platinum's plot includes the reverse world above Spear pillar thus making the
climate cold=new outfits for our protagonists!

In the up coming weeks game and anime reviews sound right for a good start of bloggin!
