But this year Miku is having a fucking festival to celebrate her birthday called Mikufes 09. You can watch a live stream here
if you pay lol.
http://www.mikufes.jp/

Hopefully we can get some Mikufes videos up and running on Youtube soon.
I dont have a Nico account. But that'll change when i get my computer back. Through these past years dear Hatsune has had a huge following. Its all thanks to Nico Nico Douga. The Japan equivalent to YouTube. And from this rising popularity, PVC figures were spawned, followed by other merch, Albums, a videogame, a Live Concert and finally... Her very own Festival. IN TWO YEARS TIME. By canon during 2007, she was 16 years old. So its ok when everybody says "Happy 18th birthday". But when she hits 40, she'll probably look just as young as 20. Or will she?

Best high budget video
Quentin Tarantino does it again! This guy has a weird way in giving each of his stories presentation flare. Besides the weird choice of music and chapter logs, he has a exclusively unique way in showing off his characters and story. Each film will begin a the plot or chapter off with very nerve racking yet calm situations. This calmness will last until the end of the chapter which would be the climax for that part of the film. So its pretty much the silence before the storm. Except theres no storm. Theres just a big bang that's usually unpredictable regardless if you tried to predict what would happen..
In this film each chapter has a climax. And each chapter tells a story that has little filler... But this bit of filler usually is how the unpredictable happens.
I came to Inglourious Basterds expecting a historical comedy.
What i got was a historical themed film with comedy in it and a alternate ending.

Yes. This movie is fiction.
Yes. This movie is funny.
But holy shit, this movie makes you flinch as you see people's body parts fly off during gun fire.

Honestly, i wasn't expecting to see much blood at all. I didn't just see blood. I saw gore.
Tarantino? Gore? Its more likely than you think. Kill Bill was filled with comical gore.
Inglourious Basterds was filled with laughs topped off with gore.
BIG difference. In Kill Bill you expect to see blood in every corner. Inglourious Basterds just pops in with a baseball bat to the head and surprises the living shit out of you. Its wayyy more flinchy. Especially when you thought it was only a comedy.

Anywho..
This film was an alternate retelling on how Hitler could have died. During WWII alot of assassinations were on Hitlers head.. This film happens to be a assassination that Tarantino thought of for A DECADE!
Thats right. Tarantino has been working on Inglourious Basterds almost forever. Every so on he'd get new ideas and expand on it which would lead to delays in production. During these phases, he'd do other projects whilst working on what he would call "his masterpiece".
But is it a masterpiece?
I'd say so. I'd say that you'd have to be very clever to think out all these ideas. BUT, this isn't a movie you'd want to watch 3 times. But you'd definitely buy it to have a fun night with friends and family. What makes it this way was the execution.
Its great and all, but it always feels like you're waiting for each climax more than expected. Waiting ALONG time.
I'M LOOKING AT YOU CHAPTER 4!!!!!!
This movie was 2 and a half hours long. It never felt like it was going by slowly, it just felt like you knew too much about whats going on for the scene to move along already (but it wouldn't move along).
Great film indeed. Alot of the unexpected, and alot of blood and lulz.

VERDICT
Art B+
Animation N/A
Story B+
Characters B+
Acting A
Music B-
Laughs B-
Action B-
Drama C+
Execution B- (surprised us with emotions, but had us wait alittle too long)

Miku Hatsune preforms in front of 25,000 and BLACK ROCK SHOOTER ANIME CONFIRMED

Just days ago (8/23) at Animelo Summer Live 2009, a Black Rock Shooter anime teaser was shown during Hatsune Miku's stage time.
Miku didn't headline unfortunately, but damn, i would have gotten the whole weekend pass if i could. We did know that Miku would be involved with the festival, but no body would have thought that she'd get her own stage time.
Animelo is an annual music festival such as the "Download festival", but based on videogame and anime musicians.

Miku Hatsune = 0:00-4:40
BRS PROJECT = 4:40-6:28
STREAMED LIVE FROM NICO NICO DOUGA (8/23/09)

Masami Okui, Nyo.

I gave my Di Gi Charat OST another try out of boredom. And because of it, i find my new favorite song (more like flavor of the month).
This one is off the Christmas Special. Thanks to this, i've been listening to Masami Okui all week. All of her songs are amazing, but lots of them lack an appeal to grab you in. But theres a few that are just plain AMAZING.

Full song & MP3 download

I just love how the Di Gi Charat series tries to pull off Art styles on covers of manga and DVDs that are COMPLETELY different of the mood of the anime. Kinda misleading. If a little girl buys Di Gi Charat because the cover looks "OMGz SO KAWAII DESU NE! ^-^", Then she'll get a surprise. Her oh so "Kawaii" expectations are destroyed when she gets a comedy that is based off pure crude randomness and otaku culture. And to top it off, all the opening songs are EPICs that are more suited for action adventure epics. But even that might mislead people. But thats the charm of it. Just like the Ramen Fighter Miki opening. Both are Comedies that don't take themselves seriously, yet love to pull off parodies and troll the viewer.
If i had the money, i'd go out and buy Di Gi Charat Nyo. I LOVE the classic animation styles the original series had (Pretty much a Slayers clone). But sadly each episode was 3 minutes and 5 minutes at max.
The Nyo series is just as fun without the charm of the 1999 budget and style.
My Fandom to Alien Cat girls sadly mourns as the American Broccoli branch had filed for bankruptcy. Broccoli was also my favorite distributor. Di Gi Charat, Disgaea, FLCL, Galaxy Angel. This also means that Synch-Point and the GAMERS store in Los Angeles has also closed down.

RIP

Though don't worry. The Nippon branches are fine in working order.
BUT STILL!
(This isn't a review or anything, but goddamn, Di Gi Charat is a lovable series)
Funfact: Masami Okui also sang for the Slayers opening and ending.

English Arceus movie trailer

During the Locarno International Film Festival in Switzerland. DAMN RIGHT IT IS!

I did see some of this at Comic-Con. But regardless of how shitty or great the series might have been, i decided to add it to my shopping list as a "BUY NO MATTER WHAT" title. The Kujian OVA alone was fun to watch and made me a fan of the fake anime series.
Last time we saw Kujibiki Unbalance, it was a 3 episode OVA that was used in the Genshiken universe as an Anime the crew of Genshiken would watch and masterbait over.
In Genshiken, Kujibiki Unbalance is a 26 episode romance comedy that was supposed to be a stereo typical anime in almost every way possible including almost everything that is cliche in anime. Hence it being an "Otaku's anime" and Genshiken -an Otaku club.
So basically 'Kujian' has lots of fan-service to go with your action packed goodness, moe and fetishes such as pantie shots and "healthy" thighs.

But i can't really say the same for this newer retelling of the series...
KUJIBIKI UNBALANCE (TV) (2006)

Kujibiki means raffle. Unbalance could possibly refer to the fickle emotions that go with this series. In the 3 episode ova, the story was about students who draw a raffle to become a position in the randomly picked team that they are assigned too. The positions are Secretary, treasurer, Vice President and President.. These teams would go up against each other in a tournament style setting and the winning team would advance to the next round. I have no fucking idea what happens if you have the last team standing. But i think that the final Team becomes the official School counsel for the next year.

3 years apart.

BUT in THIS NEWER retelling of the series..
The tournament theme was stripped away. ALOT of things were stripped away.
The story sadly pretty much dropped everything that would have kept it a comedy.
But it was probably for the better.. Or worse depending on what kind of anime you want.
Synopsis:
Rikkyouin High School is a prestigious and powerful facility. This school is soo damn powerful, that it has the authority of a small country. And as such is treated like one. Rikkyouin has a lottery every year to determine the next year's Student Council membership. They do this because the Kujibiki (the lottery) is "sacred" and it's choices are the final absolute truth. It decides the fate of alot of things that goes on. It decides who's worthy and who's not.
The lottery slots are the same as the OVA. President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
But in this story, not every one in the school has these roles anymore like the ova. Just 4 people this time around in the whole school. WHICH ALSO MEANS theres no tournament like battle themes which also means no comedy or whacked out humor. So what happens is that the 4 chosen ones have to complete missions sent out by the current school President to show if they're up for the job. If one fails to show up or complete the mission, the whole team is expelled from the School.

It does seem like a loss by how i put it. But was it? This anime kept it's Otaku roots oh so slightly. If its not a comedy... Then what fuck is it?
Its Romance/Drama/Sci-Fi. A very well done one at that.
First off, let me say that this anime is something that will appeal to the target audience (Males ages 14-35 who like boobs and pantie shots, and females of any age). Second, that you know that what you're watching is meant to be moe moe and COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from the Genshiken anime.
I'm pointing all this out because Genshiken fans bought this for Genshiken (a slice of life comedy) and not for Kujibiki Unbalance (A Drama romance show ment for Otaku males).
Having somebody review Kujian (a title farrrr out from their own taste) is like sending a Metal-head thrasher out to a Hip-Hop concert.
I on the other hand fit the target demographic. COMPLETELY!
Its like sending me to a Darkthrone and Puffy concert.

Now.. my thoughts...(on the whole story)
Let me start out by saying THIS IS SUM HIGH BUDGET SERIOUS SHIT SON.
High budget often means it'll be a serious anime. And MY GOD IT IS.
During DVD 1, we're stuck with 4 episodes that introduce the characters.
When i mean stuck, i mean you have to sit at the beginning stages of the show when it
still wanted to incorporate Wacky shit. Wacky isn't bad, but how this revision of the anime goes, i would rather they put it away if this is meant to be a darker approach to Kujian.

So we meet Chihiro Enomoto, a teen who has had bad luck his whole life. As he waits for the bus on the day of the lottery, the first thing we notice is the female protagonist Tokino Akiyama.

Shes at a vendy machine thats part slot machine. And apparently it seems that she "won" at the vendy machine what ever the fuck that means (she probably got her change back?). Anywho,
When our poor hero Chihiro walks to check up on Tokino's win, we see Crow shit fall out of the sky and onto Chihiro's nice leather shoes. As he bends down to clean it off, the fucking bus comes.
Tokino seems like she really doesn't give a shit and "WALKS" to the bus rather than run with Chihiro to catch it. By the time they both arrive, triplets and a mom walk out as the bus shits out the handicap ramp. See where i'm going with this? Tokino is gifted with being blessed with such good luck, that the world stops for her.
So we have 2 best friends that are cursed with good and bad luck. I'm just watching and going "oh, thats neat, i wonder what else is". later in the series we find out the the School President (Ritsuko Kübel Kettenkrad) was a friend of Tokino and Chihiro back when they were 5 years old. You keep seeing flashbacks of them saving a baby chicken named Pi-chan from a dog. Now what really sets the tension is that this is 10 years later. "Ritschan" was a crybaby back in the day. But now she seems like a silent prestigious bitch. So seeing "Ritsko" after ten years really shakes up Chihiro's emotions as this was his Childhood lover. He too was her childhood lover. They even promised to get married in the OVA as long as Ritsko stopped being a cry baby. And holy shit look at them now. One day during a weekend, Chihiro and Tokino go to school to find a text book Chihiro left. During their adventure, they get lost IN THE FRIGGEN BIG ASS SCHOOL. But our heroes happen to hear the violin play.. and by following that sound, the gang was no longer lost as the sound lead to the President's room.. Ritsko's room. So now Chihiro is being a big pussy but Tokino wants to help Ritsko do work because her co-workers are out. So they do. And spending time with Ritsko makes her seem less of a bitch, infact lots of happy memories were referenced as Ritsko pulls food and treats out of her ass that came straight from their early childhood. See how cute this is getting?

A few episodes later and its Ritsko's birthday at her big ass house.
Guess what Chihiro? SHES ENGAGED. The one you friggen love so much and can't stop thinking about. But its ok. You get to dance with her and stare at her huge rack as Tokino watches and feels her heart break. But thats ok too, because Pi-Chan is back! BUT HES A ROOSTER NOW!
And who gives a shit that shes engaged? Ritsko still wants Chihiro's nuts. Hence why she wants him to hold her hand and fuck her all over the kitchen table.
OK, now you get that theres a love triangle. TIME TO MOVE ON!

Now my thoughts in general;

Besides the gorgeous colors and character design, i get to see some old friends of the old Kujian cast later in the series.

Shinobu Enomoto was Chihiro's OLDER but younger looking sister and a teacher in the OVA. That still hasn't changed. But in this anime the first time we see Shinobu, we are instantly greeted with the most incestuous anime character ever.
Every chance she gets, she tries to fuck her brother. In one of the episodes it even starts out with Chihiro and Shinobu having sex. (In her dream of course) Remember when i said this was an Otaku show?

Renko Kamishakujii used to be on a rivaling team in the Kujian OVA. But in this story shes the secretary on Tokino's team and is possibly the bitchiest anime character you have ever seen in your life. But you get to see her panties in every episode. This hoe fucking slaps Tokino for being happy or some shit. You'll never find any anime character as Tsundere as this. The example i just gave was a bad one too. Thats how bitchy she is. Remember when i said this was an Otaku show?

In the OVA you might remember Kaoruko Yamada as the girl who calls Renko "Mistress".
In this anime shes still Renko's bitch. But this time we find out that shes a cyborg who powers Renko's mechas. You'll see alot of her boobs in this show. Some pantie shots too. Remember when i said this was an Otaku show?

Yamada and Renko doing normal lesbian things.

Later in the series we meet Komaki Asagiri who played the pink haired, scarf wearing busty girl on Tokino's team in the OVA. But in his anime shes now a Ninja who works the ramen shop that our protagonists always hang out at. Remember when i said this was an Otaku show?

Komaki's little sister (Koyuki Asagiri) now plays Komaki's former spot as Treasurer. Koyuki has Mewtwo's powers in this show (All Otaku shows have Shonen Lolis). Remember when i said this was an Otaku show?

Remember the awesome green haired Izumi Tachibana in the OVA that was on Tokino's team?
Yeah, she now plays the role of a mysterious fighter for hire/assassin who is out to kill the President but is bounded by Tokino in a lesbian like attraction and contract.
Remember when i said this was an Otaku show?

Mugio Rokuhara, He was Chihiro's only friend in the OVA. and nothing has changed about him in this show besides character design. (Which didn't change much)

Current Student Council
Ritsuko Kübel Kettenkrad, aka The President. I really fucking love her new design in this.
You see her changing into a $1000 party dress as well. Lots of boobage on this one. Remember when i said this was an Otaku show?

Kasumi Kisaragi (the chick with the Katana), OMFG BEST CHARACTER IN THE SERIES. Her voice actor for the dub is AMAZING, her mannerisms are sexy yet so fucking modest. Shes damn classy as hell and hates the shit out of Ritsuko, but protects her with impressive samurai skills because its her job as Vice President.. Remember when i said this was an Otaku show?

Lisa Humvee, the only American in this anime. Shes also the only red head that was in the ova. Shes the treasurer and types out calculations like its no body's fucking business. I really don't like her english voice over. Its annoying. The voice actor is great.. But it doesn't fit the character. This is the only character in the series to have a different voice actor from the OVA. Not sure if this still applies to Kasumi as she never spoke in the OVA. I think..
You know who the fucking Secretary is?
ITS A FUCKING DOG. Remember when i said this was an Otaku show?

Moving on.. The English voice work is AMAZING. Can you say REAL voice actors?
Tokino's VA is the infamous Veronica Taylor (Pokemon, Samurai Deeper Kyo).
The only problems with the Voice work is Chihiro's VA. Love the voice, but the execution comes out too boring.
The art? Fucking brilliant. The backgrounds and architecture fucking pretty as shit and the style of anime used is so cute that it brightens the character's appearances to capture the innocence of them. But this also allows dazzling effects of the night when the moon shines on the serious dark side of this anime. Theres LITERALLY not enough words to explain it without wasting 3 more hours of typing.
Now for what you really want to know... Was it a good anime?
For a Drama/Romance series... Yes. Yes it is.
DVD 1 was just some bullshit slapped together, but still had the somewhat lovable characters.
It was basically just 4 episodes of fillers that introduce the characters.
DVD 2 & 3 is where the shit is at. It goes from OMG KAWAII to grimdark frostbitten winter storms.. I wasn't expecting this anime to take such a strong turn into the dark side (moody and dramatic). And it gets pulled off elegantly in style. There actually isn't much script to work with... But the directors went all out to capture you with just 2 pages of writting and 12 episodes.
The dramatic feeling the show slowly builds up is at a great pace. The forbidden love triangle between Chihiro x Ritschan x Tokino is so typical in love that you just got to know more about it.

DURING AND AFTER OVA

1.Lisa 2.Ritsuko 3.kasumi 4.Komaki 5.Tokino 6.Izumi

What pisses me off is that the old character designs and character traits are COMPLETELY gone and may never return. I enjoyed the cliche colorful style and art that the OVA had. I enjoyed that Tokino was an ADDICTED mushroom whore. I really loved that Izumi was part of a Yakuza clan and was pro at majhong. I loved Komaki's modestness but still had to strip to save the team.
Now for this new retelling, it appears that any fan service shown wasn't done on purpose, but rather it just had to be done to keep it an Otaku anime. In the OVA, it was obvious that it was thrown in there because thats what the show was all about. And remember those tiny Aliens in the OVA that were in a swimming contest? Those fuckers are back. Remember that purple haired assasin out to kill Ritsko with a gun? Poor fellow got scrapped. I wished a prequel were made... I REALLY want to see how the OVA would have turned out.

...I'm really going to miss those big thighs regaurdless of how busty everyone is in the retelling.

Side note;
-The ending lets you hang there as you don't get to see what happens to everybody's relationship.
Nor do you see what happens to the ex student counsel or if Chihiro makes a good President.
-I might have liked this anime even more because of how it reminds me of Rhianna and I (Chihiro x Ritsuko)

VERDICT
Art A
Animation B-
Story C+ (There wasn't much plot power, but still enough to keep you watching)
Characters B+
Acting B-
Music A
Laughs C (The new serious approach kills anything remotely funny)
Action C
Drama A-
Execution B+ (The effects in the art went very well with the drama and suspense, but the comedy was lackluster in comparison)

Is it worth every penny? In my book, Yes. (if you're into this kind of thing)

Afro Samurai DVD Director's cut

We once again meet one of those animes that are only good durring the first time watching.
This anime had pretty much everything to keep your jaw dropped as we see Samuel L Jackson jive talk his way into fucking childhood friends and cutting people in half in order to execute Justice (Ron Perlman)

This anime started out as an idea by an average guy who loved Hip-hop and oldschool.
As a Japanese, he also liked Bishido and other warrior like things of his heritage.
So this guy (The creator) would scribble shit in his note books, eventually leading to what we would know as Afro Samurai. One day the soon to be director of Afro or producer or some shit i forgot (not the creator) is given offers on what his next project could be. After sighing at the moe kawaii stuff at Gonzo, he finds a photo of Afro Samurai and is suddenly super interested and takes that up as the next project.
Out of freaking nowhere, Samuel L Jackson happens to be looking a Afro Samurai demo that was made from the said Gonzo project. "I WANT TO BE HIM!" And holy shit, they got him.

So in this story we have a seemingly very african looking child watching his dad (best warrior in the world) get slaughtered by his Cowboyish best friend. (Ron Perlman/Hell Boy) (Who was the second best warrior in the world).
Just as we see in Kill Bill, the Cowboy dude tells the young 'Afro', "If this gets to ya, you can see me about it in the future". But unlike Kill Bill, the skin colors are reversed.
So this whole story is about revenge. The creator wanted something very tradidtional, and holy shit, it sure was.
The plot power involved headbands. Each headband had a number. 1,2,3,4,5 etc.
The number you had was your rank. Through out this whole series Afro had #2.
And ONLY the person with the #2 head band is able to fight the ass with the #1 headband.
Pretty simple right?
As the series progresses, we see shit ton of guys attacking Afro for the headband. We even get a cult of monks hire people to kill Afro and even make cyborgs just to get this fucking #2 head band.
And thats pretty much the whole story. #2 wants revenge from #1.
Theres some other interesting twists like how some of Afro's enemies are fucked up versions of his friends from childhood. Afro even also managed to fuck a super hot older version of his best friend's sister (That you get to see on the DVD ;] ).
The first time watching this series i was like HOLY SHIT THIS IS AWESOME.
The second time wasn't as entertaining.

Genres: adventure, fantasy, science fiction
Themes: Samurai
Age rating: Mature (<s style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">May</s> IT DOES They're usually for dudes.
That rule still applies here as Magical Witch Punie-chan hits the Magical girl genre hard over the head with a sludge hammer. I mean really.
Like Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-Chan (which came a year later), this is a parody anime on the likes of Salormoon & Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha.

So as i sit home busting out the LOCALIZED DVD,
the first thing i see is english subtitles with my japanese.
So i go back to the menu screen to look for the english dub and WHAT THE FUCKING HELL.
NO ENGLISH!??!
The convenience of having an english dub was part of why i bought this.
But before i bought this i was scared that the english dub would fuck up the
voice work of the mightiness that is Payatan.
So i guess i'll just move on!

So we're in the land of magic and the queen sends Punie to earth for one year to become the next queen of "the land of magic" (If she survives). So when Punie arrives she attends highschool as part of her training. But this highschool is full of yakuza like students who seem to fuck with Punie. But thats just the least of her problems. She has an adorable "supa kawaii" mascot who wants to kill her behind her back, numerous assassins (who are hired to kill the next queen of The land of magic aka Punie), and Punie's little sisters want the crown as well.
So in a parody of the magical girl genre such as this... Theres lots and lots and lots of gore and bone-crushing goodness to go with your SUPA KAWAII/cute heroine.
Punie's magic comes from her handy Candy cane staff. She has to say "Lyrical Tokarev, Kill them all" to activate it.

There wasn't much plot power to fuel this series. Probably why it was a 8 episode OVA

Genres: comedy, magic, supernatural
Themes: dark comedy, magic, Magical Girl, Parody, school life, wrestling
Age rating: Mature (May contain sex, drugs, and extreme graphic violence)

SIDE NOTES
Watch with friends. font-style: italic;">but did not win), including Best Picture and Best Actress for Ellen Page.

After 2 years of my older sister telling me to watch this film and me hearing the ending theme endless times whilst walking past her doorway, i finally gave in so i could see what movies makes the mind of a 10 year old tick.

What i was expecting was a light hearted slice of life comedy.
What i got was a fouled mouth loli with a likable personality.

So it starts off with our 'loli' (Ellen Page as Juno) being bored at Paulie Bleeker's house (Michael Cera).
The plan was to watch 'the blair witch project' on stars since our hero Juno hasn't seen the damn thing yet. But... Boredom stikes and far more tempting things come to mind. Long story short, Juno gets knocked up whilst not being in the arms of our rubber guardians..
So next day, she pretty much wants to see how the results turn up by drinking a whole gallon of sunny D so she can piss a barrel out her vagoo onto multiple strips of pregnancy tests.
And BEHOLD! They all turn out positive. So our little Loli goes and boldly tells her parents and to my surprise... THEY TOOK IT LIKE IT WAS NOTHING! Juno's dad especially (J.K. Simmons AKA J. Jonah Jameson from Spiderman/the only good acting in this movie).
So the rest of the story goes on to adopting Juno's soon to be Child. They find new parents. A couple who can't reproduce and are desperate for their own spawn. So in agreement, this couple will be the new parents of Juno's kid. LONG STORY SHORT, Juno fucks up the relationship with the couple by visiting the husband too much and the husband wants to gtfo of the family because he wants to become a rockstar again. Whilst this is going on, Juno wants to forcefully get back with "Cera" so the baby can have back up parents (or so it seems). In the end the fucked up Husband of the now heartbroken wife comes back and says "lol lets have the baby again". The movie ends with Juno and Paulie playing the guitar days or even weeks after the baby is shat out.

My review...
Ellen Page played a likable character, but was executed wrong.
The poddy mouth could have been used with less forced acting to make it actually seem like she was talking to people she knew rather than seeming like she was reading off from a piece of paper in front of her.
This is a comedy.. But if you're going to rely on 80% of the humor on foul language, at least make it sound dynamic or truthful. Superbad for instance. It was funny because most of those incidents actually have happened to everyone who watched it. Having Jonah Hill constantly boss around Cera with a mouth that all 15 year old boys have when on a mission to drink to get laid. Our Juno made it seem too much like "Hey, i'm the star of the film. Watch me say bad words" rather than being the actual character. As obvious as this seemed to me, i just had to deal with it when watching the rest of the film. Foul language was pretty much the only ammo this film had to consider it as a comedy. But then you have actual written joke scenarios that work too. I counted about 7 of them as being "funny". The best part being something like;
Cera-"I got your heart"
page-'I have your virginity'
It didn't get much better than that.
So as a film, there wasn't much to laugh about. But like most films, you have a plot that'll
have some drama (drama in any series is staying power).
This film tries incorporate those genres but does it all wrong. Like you'd see "comedy" turn into a scene of "drama" too quickly.
Example
"LOL WATCH ME SAY BADWORDS"
4 seconds later
"OMG TOUCH MY BABY" *New parent is feeling emotional and the music score TRIES to fix it to fit her almost tearful look as she talks to Juno's belly* Then to a new scene

I know this is supposed to be a comedy, but if the comedy is forced so much into failing, then
i expect something good to come from this film. And the 20 minutes of Drama screentime wasn't even executed right since the pacing was horrible. If this was a series on television given more time and episodes, this story would have been fantastic as it would give it time to separate comedy from drama in a slower pace (regaurdless of having little plot power).
Did i mention that Roger Ebert fails at being a critic? have you read his reviews? Most of the films he watches doesn't include plot evidence of him listening. He just sits and waits.
He even thinks that action makes a movie worse. Wolverine got a bad review from him. Transformers almost got 4 stars, but he takes away the last star because there was fighting in it.
Anyway..
This movie might seem weak due to me watching "The girl who leapt through time" weeks before Juno and i was expecting something "Just as great". But i'm pretty sure thats not really the case. I watched "Funny People" just last Friday. And... I actually laughed and clapped as the epic moments were had.
It was actually executed right. But still boring in the first half of the movie.

So as a comedy, Juno failed.
But the music was fine. I'm not into indie-esque calmness with a soft personality, but
it fitted the mood of the movie perfectly.

Verdict
Art B- (in this case setting and costume or anything else)
Story C-
Characters B-
Acting C+ (If Ellen's acting didn't sound forced and unpracticed, it would change EVERYTHING i think about this film.)
Music B
Laughs D (i base the comical humor not by quantity, but by quality+averages of laughs pulled off)
Action N/A
Drama D
Execution D+ (The comedy, character portrayal, and genre transitions were poorly done)

Side notes;
As it had a happy ending, you feel that theres alot missing still.
And this isn't a chickflick either, so i'm pretty sure what i say is accurate regarding both genders.
I'm pretty sure i've seen mediocre anime funnier than this too.

Dawn Figure

I never thought that Assembly type figures would be such high quality. With full body PVC, the chances of paint heading to the right spots are less likely and making the molds would be much harder.
I'm really liking this figure. Infact, before the my knowledge of the existence of this figure, i wanted to make my own Dawn figure by scratch. It was a small. And i'm watching my figure at the moment and figured that a venti will not burn off from this whole day of walking. Sigh.. It was enjoyable though. So now i'm sitting in a room about to watch a premier of Fist of the North Star-Legend of the Dark King. As usual, you have a man blessed with the power of a God. And my gawd it was entertaining. The first punch blew a hole in some guy's stomach and the shockwave obliterated a hole into the sky scrapper behind the soon to be dead man. As soon as that happened, the audience is clapping from erection. Yes. It was THAT awesome. So then eventually it ended.. I got up.. And looked at the schedule. The girl who leapt through time eh?

As I sit in the theater room and it seems that i missed about 10-20 minutes of the film. But i see that our time traveling heroine Makoto Konno appears to have slipped and fell on a device that came from the future. It was a time machine/walnut hybrid. haha.
As the books she was holding is falling towards her face, time suddenly stops and shes now having a bizarre acid trip (for lack of better words). After that she just goes on her day wondering what fuck just happened. Shes already having a bad day. The jello was missing, she blew up shit in her Home Economics class and currently shes ridding home on her bike.
SPOILERS
:::The ridding home part is probably where her day will end as SHE RIDES DOWN A HILL AND DISCOVERS THAT HER BIKE'S BRAKES DON'T WORK AS SHES HEADING INTO A INCOMING TRAIN!
I sit and i watch as our cute high school girl is about to get destroyed by a passing train.
I'm holding my face right about now... I know whats going to happen.. But still, this movie knows how to do drama and suspense. So obviously she survives because time reversed some how.::::
She goes apeshit trying to figure out how the hell did she do it (time leap into the past). So in a desperate attempt she manages to learn by throwing her self head first into something to re-appear in the past.
She uses this new power to eat anything she wants as much as she wants and to change situations to her liking. I'm in no way going to speak anymore about the plot as i REALLY want you to see for your self how this goes.. But Her doing all these 'fixes' to her life ultimately ruins someone elses.. As this happens she now tries to fix all she has done wrong.
This movie was well thought out. It will remind you of The Butterfly Effect in alot of ways of how altering situations in the past will change the present. But how this film tells the story is just amazing. The characters are lovable, the character development is outstanding, the life situations are cute as hell and the acting makes you think you're back in school again being there with Makoto and the gang. If this wasn't a film, the genre would be Slice of Life/drama/Romance. (Seeing how Slice of Life isn't a movie genre). All in all, i'd have to say that this is the best Anime film that i have ever seen.. And now i'm actually glad that i didn't go to the Ponyo event. But still disappointed that i didn't get the Venti sized drink to enjoy this movie with (I did have string cheese and Nilla Wafers though). The only bad thing i can say about this film is part of the execution. Theres parts that didn't really need to be there. Like scenes that stare at an object too long. But other than that, this is almost a flawless movie. When it finished, the theater gave it a standing ovation.
Thats the only time i've seen one of these at Comic-Con.
As I walk out of the Screening, I'm hit with a huge smile that would last the whole night as my heart strings are pulled but only my kidneys are effected.
Have you ever seen a movie sooo good that your kidneys had some strong unusual feeling?
First time it's happened to me.

SUGGESTIONS;
I've saw this on a HUGEE screen with surround sound and a enjoyable yet modest crowd.
If you want your kidneys to hurt like mine, i suggest you find a shit load of friends
and rent a theater. Today is that end. Nothing much left to do. The Convention closes alittle after 5:00pm on this day. Nothing left to do besides blow off the rest of the cash left.
That said i did research a night before on all the animes i watched. I looked at prices online for the very good ones. If i can find prices like this at Comic-Con, then i'd buy them.
I only had $47 left and a few quarters.. The contenders on my shopping list were all worthy.. But only a few had similar online prices. That said I got the the following;
The Girl who Leapt through time & MagicalWitch Punie-chan
$24+20+tax= $47.75 I HAD THE EXACT FRIGGEN CHANGE! OMGZ
Best Movie i've ever seen and one of the best Gore filled comedies i've ever seen.

Today was a light day.. Met up with a few friends, took the last pictures of cosplayers, watched the last of the Animus, and even took pictures of friends cosplaying. Running into Carrie for example was pure coincidence. I had to take a piss really badly and then meet up with my friend in Ballroom 20. As i walk out i see Luka in leather. Who else could sew this damn good?
It was years since i've talked to her, but stumbling upon her online again kinda made me happy as she was a vocaloid fan now. OH GOD YES.
Yeah, you know the feeling.
As the time passes i venture to the Exhibition hall with only a quater left.
Took a couple of pictures, and that was that. "Thank you for coming to Comic-Con 2009, The convention will now come to a close etc" Then like in Genshiken, everyone in the convention applauds. And the rest is history.

COMIC CON 09 -SATURDAY THE MASQUERADE PARTY

So in my opinion, not much was going to happen that day because i already did most of my plans and saw most of the animus.
But as always.. My predictions came out wrong. Today was the most out of any day in Comic-Con history that i've seen this many people. The Exhibition hall is always scary. But this time Up stairs was scary. My precious Anime hall was filled like a bag of chips (still room, but still crowded). That never happens. The cosplay today was more than any day i've ever seen. But you know what? My Camera battery was dead. DEAD. It said it was full.. But machines lie too right? So in a emergency call, i get the fuck out of the convention center and head the fuck home and grab the charger so i can head back. As i was home i was in the middle of exchanging my $30 check to my mom for cash. But then my sister interrupted and asked that she get MY money because i somehow ripped her off with the recycling cash. (Which i didn't because for 4 years of collecting she mixed up the cans and bottles so i can labor in the back yard for a week sorting them out.) She claims that i was working too slow in the hot weather and she could have done it because some how she has excellent intake of nutrition than i do (fats and carbs lol). So then she says "AT LEAST I DON'T SPEND IT ON PORN". My mom was all "You bought Porn?". I said no, because it really wasn't porn at all. Then my sister yelled "ITS CARTOON PORN" (we were talking about the Ecchi art collection). So then my mom refused to give me the exchange in cash. My sister being super smart had no reason to bring that up as i don't speak about her spending her money only on NON tangible substances such and POT. But being the nice brother i am, i don't say a word, but rather i just deal with the situation (I'm not a rat, but wish to be at times like this). So now the family is having a talk with me about my Moe moe Ecchi animu hobbies :3 . "What does this do for you?" "It isn't reality" etc.
It was... very soul binding. Then i hear my mom say something like "Cartoons shouldn't be doing stuff like that". Lulz were had as i felt bad for these people as they only had sooo little to grow up with. I thought the rest of the day would turn out bad as i have this new hypermode loathing hate for my dad (Almost like everyday rite?). But as always, my predictions turn out wrong.
So i'm now watching Fate Stay Night in one of the theater rooms whilst charging my Battery on the wall closest to me. The thing charges and i walk out side after that awesome second to last episode.. What i see is a line. BIG ASS FUCKING LINE. If that wasn't bad enough, 4Chan was there doing some /b/ shit. But was it truly bad? Lol no. This was one of the highlights of Comic-Con adventure 2009. My Animu hall was filled with this GIANT LINE for the Masquerade party. I've never been to one of these at Comic-Con before. I wasn't planning too either. In this long line we have people with signs saying "Twilight Ruined Comic-Con", "Free hugs", "Twilight this and that". But what really got the energy flowing was that this line was chanting "TWILIGHT SUCKS, TWILIGHT SUCKS". So i'm just trying to take in the moment with a doezen pictures since i have no camcorder mode on this $500 piece of shit. So 30 minutes later i head to one of the Animu rooms to watch something.. I think it was Doujin Work. Pretty sure it was. After that ended there wasn't much animu to watch till 11:00pm. That said i decided to find the Masquerade. Upon this quest i stumble upon a line where the Autograph area was in the morning. I soon discover that it was for free food. Salads, Nachos, Popcorn, & velvet red cupcakes. Then upon walking further there was filled tables of people watching the Masquerade live via a huge screen. Even more awesome -there was a bar. Alcohol at my Comic-Con? Its less likely than you think. In the awesomeness of all this i ran over to Ballroom 20 where the Masquerade was taking place. OH MY GOD, THE SEATS ARE ALL GONE AND AMAZINGNESS WAS EVERYWHERE! I sit on the floor up in front getting my camera ready. The stage had so many great acts and costumes that i could just wet myself. Two acts worthy of mention was a Muppet act which was sooo damn hilarious and Act #18 -"Welcome to the Dollhouse". Welcome to the doll house started with Igor holding a giant Ipod. The master dude said to play a said song. "A small world after all" starts playing and cultures of different people come out of the box and started holding hands whilst walking in a circle happily. It was meh.. But then Master dude said "IGOR, THATS NOT THE SONG I WANTED". Igor replied "Oh yes, sorry my master". then you see Igor switching the songs on the giant ipod whilst the ipod clicks were had. He presses play and you hear;

"Cause this is thriller!!!!!!!!!, thriller night
And no one's gonna save you from the beast about strike"

Everyone on stage are now doing the dance and everyone in the audience is going WILD.
Lots of applaud went to that act. By the end of the night they won a few awards. Not sure which. But anyway, i leave the Ballroom to go back to the "Eating auditorium room" to watch and eat there. But then the acts ended which left time (3 hours) for the judges to vote on the acts. Then the lights dim. Music turns on super loud and strobe lights and colorful flights fuck up the room. I'm now at a real party. Whilst the room dances and shake their tits, i had my camera ready to take the most pix out of my 5 day weekend. SOO MUCH GOING ON, Wasted Harry Potter, Break dancing Otaku, Amazing things. So many people hooked up (Which is amazing since we all know what kind of people dwell upon comic-con). I look at the clock and see that its midnight. Oh SHIT, HELLSING ULTIMATE IS ON!! Oh well, lol. So the judging has ended and the music was supposed to stop, but by demand, it stayed on. I didn't really watch the winners, but i'm glad who i saw won, win.
So the last songs played were some Micheal Jackson of course. Party ends... people go home and i bought nothing.

Great day. Best Comic-Con day. Can't wait till next year.

Masquerade pictures are here http://tinylink.com/?MWubyBLT2G

COMIC CON 09 -FRIDAY

So now its Friday
Its 2:00am and so that left me 6 or less hours of possible sleep as i would wake up again to come back to Comic-Con within hours. But noooo, my dumbass stood up till 3:00am. 3 hours later my dad calls to wake me up to get ready for 8:00am. WHO THE FUCK TAKES 3 HOURS TO GET READY ANYWAY? So i go back to sleep and wake up at 8:00am. OH FUCK. No worries though.. I'll just slip on my new shirt THAT I CAN'T FIND. After the hustle, i'm at CC waiting for 9:30 to come. Its 8:20am and the place is already packed... But Sooooo many beautiful womenz. I swear its like the rule to have a skinny waist and big breasts to enter comic-con. Because these type of women out number the fat and flat people. So 9:30 comes and So i take a seat on a bench to see what time one of my japanese animus start. 10:00am?!?! WHAT!? FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.
Oh well... I'll just sit on the bench and look at this AMAZING view in front of me. Not of Women.. But the Downtown gaslamp. Occasionally i'll take a pic of a few passing cosplayers. But today was just a rest day from fucking up my limbs from walking for miles indoors. Just animu. All day. But i 7:00pm i was planing to watch the Dub premier of Ponyo whist Hayao Miyazaki talks about it. It was a once in a lifetime event. Hayao Miyazaki hasn't been in America since the promotion of Princess Mononoke. A snapshot of him with me would have made it a highlight of my life. So.. After all the study i did from learning the directions... I then find out that its premiering in HALL H. OH BOY! But when the time comes.... nothings happening... Its just a different panel of the Avatar movie (which was fun). The Avatar movie will be in Baysplosions vision. (Super CGI). ANYWAY... So now i find my self walking for miles finding the actual location... I see a line of people walking somewhere... Not just anyone, but Anime people. So i thought maybe they're going to Ponyo? So i follow. A mile later we're near a parking lot. And what happens? THIS LINE WAS GOING BACK TO THEIR CARS TO GO HOME! FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.
So i walk a few miles back to the convention.. and i walk another billion years to this hotel that was having a Comic-Con event. I see Asians and Hayao Miyazaki merch on them, so i'm like "FUCK YEAH, LETS GO GO GO!!". So now i'm at this fancy hotel. I see a line.. The glee on my face would suddenly burst into a WHAT THE FUCK as soon as i see that this event was for the Eisner Awards. To folks that don't know what that is -The Eisner Awards is the Grammy/Oscar equivalent to the Comic-Book. I would take a peak, but it was guests only. So as my hope exploded, i head back to the convention center... BUT FIRST, i'll take my Mocha frappuccino! Thank you Star Bucks. I needed that. So now i'm back at the convention center... I didn't really have anything else planned because Hayao Miyazaki was the rest of my day. So i sit into one of the anime rooms. I happened to be watching a dub showing of the movie "The Girl who leapt through time". I'm not going to explain it now, because this movie deserves it's own post. But this movie was probably the best movie i have ever seen. A standing ovation was had, and a new dvd was on my shopping list. Shit was so beautiful. I wonder if going to Ponyo would have been a worse experience... But i'm glad i didn't see it. If i did, i would have never seen this great film.
MOVING ON! If my night couldn't get any better, the anime showings were just FANTASIC.
Applauds to the premier of a new Fist of the North star was had, and HELLSING ULTIMATE WAS AMAZINGGGGGGGGG. I ended that night with some Ecchi. Headed home... and slept for another 3 hours.

COMIC CON 09 -THURSDAY

Thursday comes. The true first day of Comic-Con.
I came with Nilla Wafers, water and string cheese as i was going to be venturing off to the
world of unexplored anime. The first actual Comic-Con panel i visit was the ASTRO BOY movie panel. So much people came for something i thought had little interest to anyone. So we get speakers from the director, producer and Astro's VA. Not much going on here... But i can tell you whos going to VA in the movie.. Samuel L Jackson as (lol i didn't take notes), Nicholas Cage as the antagonist, Bill Nye & sum other hoe as (didn't take notes cuz i didn't knoe lol).
What i saw had the charm, visual appearance and humor of a Pixar film, but with Baysplosions in it. The footage i saw would make you think of Pixar but with Tranformers violence (Without the gore) and what people in the 50's would think the future would look like- Type style. After that ended i went back to my animus.
As i was switching viewing rooms and shitting out my deposits of cookies and cheese, i would always see some fat cosplayer and seldom the actual great ones. But the great ones had been captured with my trusty camera. And not all the Anime the viewing rooms show is worthwhile... This just leaves me with more shopping! By the end of the day is bought

2 shits, 1 art book. This translates as $35+20+tax= $60
Picture came out shitty. Oh well right?
My day wasn't over yet. The Anime showings end at 1:00am.
What exactly would they be showing at this time? LOTS OF ECCHI GOODNESS.
I'll write my viewings in a different post as i don't have the space in this one.
But i get home at 1:50am ish...

COMIC CON 09 -WEDNESDAY

DAY 1. For me anyway was preview night. Preview night only allows persons with 4 day passes.
So i'm thinking to myself "This will be the easiest of days to do my shopping since there wont be much people." WRONG. Holy Arceus, the exibition hall was PACKED. The traffic was just as bad as a Saturday. The plan for the day was to buy as much as i could so i can go on with the plans that the rest of the week had for me. At first the manga put that in to give her character. Now shes being marketed as a moe machine of Taco Derio. God bless the little Taco franchise of Japan. They really need this promotion. Japan just needs some Tacos really.. I bet they'd rival Taco Bell in an instant if they had a kataoka yuuki PVC giveaway or a Haramura Nodoka promotion. Haramura is possibly the only reason why i might go out and buy this series. Whats there not to like? Busty young woman who... Plays mahjong with pink hair to moeify the rest of the series. Kinda out of the blue the anime shows some serious yuri themes. But hey, business is business. Sure caught my eye.

I might even learn how to play this game <s>regardless of how much the anime plays it completely wrong.</s>
But seriously? How does a show have a 15+ episode airing with limited writing power? Lets take a look at the synopsis!
Saki Miyanaga is a first year student of (name of unknown high school goes here). This little (14 year old?) girl has been in a family who played Mahjong as if it was the only fucking thing they could have done with their free time. <s>Its either that or the Mahjong tiles are laced with highly potent crack.</s> Anywho, this family of hers would force her to play regardless of the outcome.(see rape). So to cope with this <s>crack</s> mahjong addicted family, poor baby Saki would just always keep her score at zero so she can "get it over with". From this horrible life of hers, shes grown up to hate the game <s>like all victims of rape</s>. But upon graduating middle school to high school, Saki's old middle school <s>carpet</s> buddy encourages Saki to try out the Mahjong club in high school (land of j-cup tits). And what do you know!? Saki actually rapes the shit out of all of her competitors without trying (rape runs in the family i suppose). From this, the Mahjong team recruits her and so off they go to destroy the world starting at a Mahjong tournament.
The plot seems mighty legit to me.

Silly me, i didn't even introduce Saki's picture seeming how she wasn't moe enough.
I wonder how these Taco Derio tacos taste like. Some of them actually look authentic without the roaches.

http://www.tacoderio.com/menu/index.html

Which brings me to the idea... You think Japan might be using rice tortillas?
Thats an idea that doesn't sound bad at all. It could be the next big thing!

The only part of the whole series where they actually play Mahjong.

Super Mario Marathon 2

I was the first person to email them last year during their first 10 minutes. "ITS LIEK I'M RLY BADASS!". Now i officially like the Mecha genre. I liked G-Gundam a whole lot, but then SEED made me hate Mecha. But its okay now.
Code Geass was ok too. I was bored shitless from it, but i tuned into the last 5 episodes and shat myself from it having an amazing ending. Now i'm watching the series from the beginning since i understand wtf is going on now.
Anywho..
I'm also alittle late to know that Billy Mays has died a couple days after MJ & FF.
Its sad really. Because i wouldn't have known the awesome that is mighty putty.

In other MORE pleasant news, it has been confirmed that Mewtwo will be in Heart Gold/Soul Silver! I don't really give a damn about the Latios and Latias news. They're pointless to the Pokemon lore..

..Speaking of lore, join my new Arceus cult!
http://hail-arceus.blogspot.com/
or myspace groups
http://groups.myspace.com/CHURCHovARCEUS

I made up the whole "Genesis" story on that page with using factual Pokemon lore.
(I'm practicing my writing skills.)
Latios and Latias were so worthless. No need to include them in the chart or story.
Lugia clones. lul, I drew that!^^^ Theres soo much symbolism in it, that its deeper than the Da Vinci Code.
The Arceus Sigil i made is just as hardcore.

I'm watching the Mario Marathon 2 right now.
I'll write about it when it ends. Shits addictive and awesome.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://randys-room.blogspot.com/2009/07/hail-arceus-hail-mecha.html' title='HAIL ARCEUS! I'm guessing they buy out all the leftover chicken hordes after the "Big 3" take
first dibs on the fresh chicken. Now Kentucky Grilled Chicken.. It tastes like the original KFC fried chicken recipe. Great right? Well no, the fried chicken is nice and oily with lots of juicy fats. The Kentucky Grilled Chicken is almost as dry as my dad's pork chops. Pretty much a block of eatable seasoning. They weren't kidding when the ad said "It falls right off the bone". IT REALLY DOES! Sounds like a block of ice when it hits your plate. Not too flattering. Even i can make better chicken, probably anyone who does not know how to cook. Now for those who MIGHT go off to El Pollo Loco to fuel their souls, i recommend to do the following;

1. Prepare some jasmine rice (Have it cook 30 minutes prior to leaving).
2. Go off to the Crazy Chicken and order some Mac and Cheese as a side with your chicken.
3. Get home, get a bowl, put in the rice and soy sauce (WHITE PEOPLE, DON'T ABUSE THE AMOUNT OF SOY SAUCE)
4. Pour about 1/3rd the amount of Mac and Cheese on your rice as the amount of rice you have in the bowl.
(If you have 2 cups of cooked rice in the bowl, then 1 cup of M&C is what you're aiming for)
5. Gently mash together. (Only just slightly Mixing it)
6. Eat with your crazy chickens.

You know whats really fun? If you replace the chicken with Fried Chicken and use the skin to wrap around the rice.
BUT! -El Pollo Loco's Mac & cheese complements the rice farrrr better than the Neclear Orange stuff you get at KFC. Most of you Asians probably already do this. I just laugh at the fools who think it sounds disgusting. But guess what? People think the idea of cheese is gross.
If you're really a ambitious eater, how about going to both places?!

Ps. If you want to push it to the extreme, throw in a sunnyside up egg and a hashbrown and mix it along with the 3000 calorie bowl of wet dreams. I've done this about 10 times in my lifetime. Its sooo amazing.

San Diego Comic-Con 09

ITS THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN!
The only 4 days of the year where i leave my room!
Comic-Con is coming... Again..
I've been going every year since 1999 due to the convention center being in my backyard. Its like everybody came to my birthday or something. Which also explains all the free goodies. Last time i blew off $300 on-you guessed it, Anime and Video games. Which is fine because its very seldom that i get to blow of my parent's money like a madman (Which i'm very thankful for). But this year it'll come out of my pocket (maybe). The very pocket that I've been on other Comic-Con adventures with. But this year will be different. This year i'm mostly in pursuit of the hot nippon lady action.
Bitches don't know about my
Gen Lai Sen.

1. Find hot girl
2. Feed her the best Chinese food in California
3. ????
4. Profit!
Gen Lai Sen is a family owned restaurant with the charm of looking like a hole in the wall with the typical indoor/street vendor type feeling of China. I've been going here for years and I've got to say, those rundown 17 year old carpets make the experience 100% more authentic, thus Super Powering your date with whomever you choose. But be warned! Don't buy take out unless its necessary.
Buying indoors= 1.5 times the amount of extra food (THAT YOU CAN DOGGY BAG). ITS WORTH IT!. If you ever do consider this awesome award winning sweat house of child labor- with it's own parking lot, then try out the Beef Noodle and Pork Fried rice. SHIT IS SO BOMB. Stay close to these main stream dishes, i'd say they've had alot more practice with those dishes than anything else. And the Veggie Fried rice is even better than the pork. (Weird isn't it?) And that's not even the awesome part. The awesome part is you eating there after leaving Comic-Con. Its just a few blocks away. Small yellow building that looks wayyyyy out of place from the City College and skyscraper apartment complex across from it.
http://www.yelp.com/biz/gen-lai-sen-san-diego

Now back to Comic-Con.
Heres my wish-list for this year;
1. Perhaps even the Disgaea art books.
